What a day it has been! Today I had a pleasure of shooting S J's wedding, and it's been a fantastic day. Starting from the preparations (time seemed to fly??), then the church (yeah I had a tear in my eye - you could feel the love between those two), the Yard (cool) and then the reception, it was all fun fun fun - and we have been so lucky with the weather ( although at one point I was lying in a pile of mud, but it's a long story!).

My favorite part of the day was the bit between the church and the reception aka the very cool car breakers Yard ( Stock Auto Breakers - thanks guys for letting us in being models too!). We hung out , chucked a brollies around, rolled around on the floor (well I did...), roped unsuspecting bystanders into having pictures - just the usual stuff that goes on a wedding day (not!). Steph looked stunning and James couldn't take his eyes of her. Steph James , as promised here is a quick preview for you before you get away for your honeymoon - have a fantastic time! Thank you for letting me share your day with you, it was fab. Hope these are grungy enough for you! Please click on images to enlarge...

PART 1 - Arrival boat cruise

This is going to be one long post! In fact I will probably separate it into several post since I have so many images that I would like you too see. It was an honour to photograph Jen Al's wedding , at the beautiful resort of Kanuhura in the Maldives. I also accompanied them on a boat cruise the night before, and we had a fantastic "day after"session too.

Ok, so after feeling rather beat after an 11 hour flight, these are the views I was greeted with from the seaplane....more than made up for the tiredness!

The next day, after spending the day settling in with Wayne Izzy ( my hubby and daughter), we were invited to come along on a boat cruise. It was lovely, and the whole wedding party gathered for an informal drink and a spot of dolphin watching. I thought it would be a great opportunity to test drive all my gear, so took my camera along. Glad that I did - I learned that in hot climates lenses steam up very quickly. At leats it prepared me for the wedding day!
