Whilst I am no longer taking wedding bookings i couldnt resist posting a quick sneak preview of a few of my faves from Susan James's wedding at the Waldorf in London last Saturday. It was a lovely day we had fabolous weather, which was great for my penultimate wedding of this year !

It's been a long while since i have posted on this blog…those in the know will know I am no longer taking on wedding bookings, hence the silence! But I still have 5 weddings left to shoot this year so expect a few posts…

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting a Pre-wedding, or as it is known an E session for Erika Dan. I can't say that we had the best weather in the world, and it was freezing! We had a little walk around Old Leigh, got to know each other a little, and I am now really looking forward to shooting the wedding! Here is a little taster for you…

Sean & Sara wedding – Cyprus

Back in June I had the absolute pleasure of covering the wedding of Sean Sara. I had a good feeling about this wedding from the start – Sean Sara are so down to earth and such a lovely couple,and you can really see how much they love each other. The wedding was a intimate affair on a yacht, with some close friends and family, and it was so much fun to shoot. i was delighted to have my husband and daughter with me in Cyprus too, so following the wedding I had a few days to recover. Sean Sara – thank you for your generosity, your patience, and for being such great subjects – it was truly a pleasure to work with you.

This blog has been rather neglected lately – sorry everyone! It's the middle of wedding season, and unfortunately had so much on my plate, I got rather behind…I also have some news, namely that I am not taking on any further bookings for weddings. The weekends have taken their toll on my family life, and on my back as well! So unless you are getting married abroad, and I can combine the wedding with a holiday, or getting married on a weekday locally to where I live, and only require a very short coverage – I'm afraid my work is done:) Of course I still have some lovely weddings to shoot next year, but unless something change drastically i will be concentrating all my energies on my portaits, especially of newborns – check out my websites right here www.mariamurray.co.uk also the blog www.mariamurrayblog.co.uk

As you may have noticed this blog has been rather quiet lately. There is good reason – I am literally snowed under with work, and as blogging takes a rather long time, I figure I am better off actually spending time working on the images!

Here is a highlights slideshow from Joe Jo's lovely and emotional day. The wedding and reception were at One Whitehall Place, a grand and beautiful venue. I could really feel the love between those two, and I hope you can too. Please remember the first time the slideshow take s a while to load…and enjoy.

A quick preview before I go off on holiday of the lovely wedding I covered a couple of weeks ago. Sonia Alan got married in a lovely church in Essex , followed by a reception at the fabulous Barn Brasserie. It was a great day, and I loved the fact that the groom wore a pale blue suit teamed with yellow converse! In fact all the bridesmaids and the boys wore converse too…quirky and cool. The bright gerberas also looked fab, and Sonia was a beautiful, radiant and an emotional bride (as was Alan…well not a bride but you know what I mean!). And not forgetting Mabel of course – just adorable.

More to come on my return, including a sneak peek at Jo Joe at One Whitehall, and of course some highlights from Cyprus and the wedding of Sean Sara. For now – I must dash, I have a flight to catch!
