I first came across Choccywoccydoodah in a wedding magazine when I was looking for a cake for my own wedding. Let's face it's with name like that they are not easy to forget! So of course I googled them, and ordered one as I loved what I saw. It was a big white chocolate sculpture and I stlll have a bit saved in my freezer - as a memento of course, not with a view to eating it...since it is over 5 years old! But anyway I digress. I wanted to blog about them because I regularly visit their website to see what weird and wonderful creations they may come up with! Below you will see my current favorites - aren't they fantastic? And not only do they look great but they are also delicious - and are a definite talking point.

So for decadent chocolate cakes, beautiful sculptures, extravagant chocolates, unique designs and deilcious recipies, visit their website which is www.choccywoccydoodah.com or visit their store in Brighton. They can also be found in Liberty of London. YUM!

Sometimes, there simply isn't enough time on the day of your wedding to get certain images. Sometimes, after the fact , you realise that choosing your photographer on price wasn't the smartest thing to do. Sometimes, using Uncle Bob just doesn't live up to your expectations. And sometimes, you just loved being a star for the day and want to have another go! Whatever your reason, post - wedding shoots are becoming more and more popular. And they are great fun! Whether that be a day, a month or a year after your wedding - it doesn't matter. I am even considering one myself - although might have to lose a bit of weight to fit back into my dress...and convice hubby that it's an excellent idea!

Today I had a fantastic time photographing Laura Alex, who got married back in September. They got in touch as they didn't get a chance to get many couply shots on their day , and were well up for dressing up again. Even though I did not photograph the wedding, I had no issue at all doing the post-wedding shoot - and Laura and Alex were really easy to work with. Poor Laura was frozen by the end of the session - but I think it was worth it! One of the things that I really like about these is that we managed to make it look like Autumn ( which it was on the orginal wedding date), even though we are in the first throws of spring - we found some lovely reddish trees that acted as backdrops.

Laura and Alex - I hope you love these as much as I do, look out for a few more more in the next day or two and the full slideshow in a couple of weeks or so!
